Jeffrey’s vision—for himself, the Energy Wave Center, and everyone he touched—was centered on helping people heal and evolve to their highest level of being. This founding mission brought him together with Debra Giusti to create the Energy Wave Center, bringing frequency medicine and cutting-edge holistic therapies to the heart of Sebastopol. He saw the Center not just as a business, but as a place where anyone could find support, transformation, and community.
Recognized Achievements and Lifelong Dedication
Both the Press Democrat and Sebastopol Times described Jeffrey as a “community treasure” who shaped Sebastopol’s cultural and spiritual landscape. He co-founded businesses, supported nonprofits like The Middle Way, organized the Harmony Festival, and facilitated wellness modalities like sound healing and frequency therapy. For over 30 years working alongside Debra Giusti, Jeffrey was always present to support, encourage, and innovate—inspiring greater health and joy for all who crossed his path.
A Phenomenon of Remembrance
The response to his sudden passing was immediate and profound, with literally hundreds of people recounting the ways Jeffrey aided their healing, guided their life choices, and encouraged them to realize their own purpose in the community. From heartfelt tributes at spontaneous memorials to personal stories of transformation, it is clear his “connector” spirit impacted generations of Sebastopol residents.

Now, the Energy Wave Center and the broader community are coming together to honor Jeffrey’s life and support the blossoming of his mission for years to come. Vigils, healing ceremonies, and collective remembrances continue to celebrate his legacy, while the Center is dedicated to carrying forward his compassionate vision. All are invited to participate, connect, and be part of the community helping the Energy Wave Center blossom to its next level—embodying the values of service, innovation, and heartfelt care that Jeffrey championed.
An Enduring Impact
Those who knew Jeffrey speak of him as a “constant, a light” in Sebastopol, revered for his genuine kindness and steadfast willingness to help anyone in need. His legacy lives on through the Center and spontaneous tributes across the city, from local cafés to wellness spas. A public memorial service celebrating his life will be planned for this fall at the Energy Wave Center, with details to be announced.
Sebastopol, and everyone touched by his warmth and wisdom, will long remember Jeffrey Edelheit — the gentle force behind so many connections and transformations.

1953–2025
Jeffery Edelheit lived in Sebastopol for over 30 years, and was known by hundreds of people in the community as the “Unofficial, but extremely loved Community Mayor” of Sebastopol. He was beloved by so many and he was always assisting people and community projects with deep care, brilliant solutions, and generous support. He has assisted many significant community projects, including the Laguna Trail, the Sebastopol Skate Park, and has also supported many non-profits, and has been involved with. He has been offering Sound Healing since 1998, as well as becoming an expert in sound frequency healing.
In the beginning of 2023, he founded the Energy Wave Center with founding partner Debra Giusti, and has helped hundreds of people towards their healing utilizing this evolutionary offering of “frequency medicine” that’s now available.
He is remembered with so much love by his daughter, Heather, his son Aaron, his two granddaughters, Lydia, his dog Pete, his family at the Pleasant Hill Community, and literally thousands of people in his community.
