I am thrilled to have Chris Holder come to the Energy Wave Center. He is a highly respected Naturopathic Doctor who specializes in cancer and especially breast cancer. And YES, I found out 2 years ago I also had breast cancer.
I had the lump removed, and it was “Stage I,” which was great.
But I did not want to do additional traditional methods after the lumpectomy that recommend hormone blockers, radiation, or anything else that will continue to challenge my body. I also want to do whatever I can to make sure it doesn’t come back.
Luckily I found Chris. He was able to identify and understand why I got the cancer, and remove that cause. He also put me on a natural program to deal with it. Dr. Chris Holder Bio
Dr. Chris Holder combines the best of Western medical technology with Eastern philosophy in addressing ailments in body, mind, and spirit. Self-discovery and patient empowerment are values he holds in high regard. He practices utilizing unique combinations of treatment modalities from around the world to promote wellness and encourage healing.
Treatment options include: herbal medicine, orthomolecular medicine, IV nutrients, cognitive behavioral counseling, cranio-sacral therapy, massage, nutrition counseling, meditation, qigong, and indigenous rituals.
Dr. Holder has a special interest in the treatment and prevention of breast cancer. He will be exploring the environmental causes of breast cancer and developing treatment strategies to prevent breast cancer based on the latest in scientific research. He has put together the Bay Area Breast Health Collective to aid patients and practitioners in making the lifestyle changes needed to prevent breast cancer.
Dr. Holder attended Seattle University, earning his degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. Upon graduating he conducted research on HLA genetics in Type I Diabetes Mellitus at Pacific Northwest Research Institute. He went on to receive a doctorate in Natural Medicine and masters in Acupuncture from Bastyr University. Dr. Holder spent several years developing a successful practice in Seattle, WA where he was named a Seattle Metropolitan Magazine 2010 top doctor.
Dr. Holder relocated to Sonoma County in 2013 to be closer to friends and family. Dr. Holder was recently named President of the California Naturopathic Doctors Association Board. Sonoma Magazine has named Dr. Holder as one of Sonoma County Top Doctors 2016.
